The village of Atkinson is a sometimes forgotten, tiny village on the east coast of Dominica, an island in the West Indies. It is home to a few hundred people and is the only place on the planet where everyone calls me Nicky. It is my home.
In July 2020, I set out on a mission to assist and give back to the community that molded me into the person I am today. And so, The Nicky Project was born.
September 2020 - our first "Back-to-School Drive" was a success. One hundred and ten deserving students and their teachers were blessed with packages. In December 2020, our first "Holiday Food Drive" was also a success. Since then, we've organized many drives and contributed towards community projects and sporting events.
Organizing these projects and shipping packages is quite costly.
